[RC] [Guest] Half-Arab crosses - Ridecamp Moderator

Jan Mutchler jmutchler@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Tracy: I have a half-Arab/half-Holsteiner (Arasteiner?). I haven't competed him yet because I am still bringing him along, plus we are in the process of a move. So far, I am liking what I see. He is very kind, gentle and extremely easy to train. Very comfortable gaits - excellent trot, rolling canter. Huge feet and bone. He has a laid-back attitude, yet moves out quite well. Not far enough along in his conditioning to speak to metabolics, but I haven't seen anything adverse, either. Give your horses a chance and see where you go with them. Most of the fun is in "getting there" anyway.
