I never really thought about sacking out a horse in that manner, but sacking out is done with all kinds of strange objects, so why not!? I am working with my yearling, doing lots of ground work, and this is a great idea for further ground work next year when I introduce her to a saddle. I don't plan on getting on her back next year, but I don't see any harm in de-spooking her to all kinds of things before I actually get on her back. I'd rather have things go as smoothly as possible and avoid any wrecks. A horse can get used to just about anything given the time.
