[RC] Stonebrusid/epson salts/Furazone treatment. - Laurie Durgin

Double checking here. It has been suggested I soak Rascal 3 week old, stone bruise in Epson Salts.I asked my trainer in training daughter and her trainer and they said I mix Epson salts in a Furazone paste and pack with cotton balls in an easyboot , also using vetwrap.Leave it on about 10-12 hours.I asked, how long?
She said till he is better. Is this ok? I perfer to leave him out, he eats the stall is locked up too long. He is on pasture/dry lot, couple acres. Some rocks/ mud when it rains (weekly).
Or should I only do it for a couple days or one day . Is it ok to put the easy boot on and take it off daily and cleran it out?
He is gimpy lame walkling on rocks (some around barn, but he advoids them, or if I brlng him up on drive. Hardly noticeably lame on grass. )Barefoot the last 2.5 months. Farrier isn't due for everyone till end of August. Sensitive some if you tap it. No heat or swelling.Had it about 3 weeks, found it this weekend. Laurie/ Rascal/Honey/Scout
