[RC] spooky horses - Karen Parker

One of my clicker training buddies, Debra Olsen-Daniels had a gelding named
Magic that was terrified on the trail so she developed what she called
wilderness bravery. She had her friend Julie hide in bushes along the trail
and as she led Magic towards the bush, Julie would click, come out and give
Magic a treat. This developed to Julie rattleing bushes, jumping up,
screaming and making all kinds of sudden moves and scaring Debra half to
death, but Magic would go trotting up to her to get his goody. Julie also
wore hides and hid behind logs and rocks. Magic is now very brave on the
trail. I am not sure about the state of Debra's nerves however. Karen Parker
