[RC] XP2004 - Jonni Jewell

In one area we rode thru an area where a tornado had swept a 7 mile wide
swath the year before. Incredible! (glad we won't be going that far into
tornado country next summer!)<<<

Ahhh, yes, tornadoes. I don't give them much thought anymore......now that I
live in tornado country! <wink> One thing about the XP...if you did not
like the weather, wait a day...or an hour, it was gonna change. I do
remember some of those thunderstorms, and BIG hail!!! Riders coming in off
the trail in Ft. Bridger, black stormy sky...hail coming down, and riders
actually laughing as they rode in!!!! Yep, those XP riders are a different
lot alright. I don't remember weather keeping any riders from saddling up
for a days ride. Just added to the whole experience!!! Hummm, maybe in 2004
we could have a snow storm...did not have any of THOSE in 2001 !!!!!
