I used an Aussie for the first several years I
began riding. Those thigh things, Mickey Mouse ears, poleys(on mine they were
Roley poleys) saved my life on many an occasion and I came to call them "Angel
wings"! The saddle was comfortable, lightweight, I was able to adjust the panel
stuffing for fit issues and was dirt cheap(second hand and probably made in
India model). Worked great but was wearing out when I came across a deal on an
OF. Just sold the Aussie for what I paid for it 2 weeks ago. If I came across a
good deal on a quality Aussie that fit my horse would jump on the
deal.
