Pretty much all the other imports came from Crabbet or were "desert bred." I don't know enough about them to know who imported them.

There is not anything "modern" about this mare's pedigree, so don't look for
show successes of any up close relatives.  If you ask me, this is a positive
recommendation.

Many of the "desert breds" in Diner Lin's pedigree are Davenports.

*That* would definitely be a positive recommendation in my book. And while there aren't a lot of Davenports in the show ring these days, they do figure prominently in a lot more pedigrees than they get credit for.
