Yeah, that's why I thought Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was such a
piece of crap film. And The Black Stallion. Gone With the Wind and Casa
Blanca
pretty much sucked for the same reason. Oh, and To Kill a Mockingbird? Never
actually happened. What a pile of steaming manure. Hey everybody...LIGHTEN
UP! LOL It is a movie. Expecting historical fact from Hollywood is stranger
than expecting it from Washington, DC. Don't wanna go see Hidalgo? OK! Stay
home! But all of this gnashing of teeth and rending of garments over a MOVIE
is pretty silly. JMHO
:o)

Ps. Saw the first matinee showing of Seabiscuit yesterday and have to agree
with what seems the consensus - AWESOME! They left out my favorite line from
the book though....when asked how he intended to compete with a shattered leg
on a horse with one bum leg itself, Red responded, "Well, between the two of
us, we have four good legs." Now I don't know if that is historically an
accurate quote or not, but what a good one nonetheless! LOL
