[RC] morgans - Karla Watson

I have always been a HUGE morgan fan. Beautiful, beautiful horses. They always take my breath away. I was told once that they are too heavily bodied to do this sport well. Glad to hear you are doing so well with yours!

many times overlooked but i have found as have fortunate others MORGANS make
great endurance horses and better partners than many of the more drama
oriented breeds.i have been nationally and regionally ranked with mine for a
second generation.my stallion did 550 miles of the xp 2001 for his first
ride[s]as a 6 yr old and is ranked again this yr.my first 3 MORGAN mares
were all top ten and 2 of them have produced same.my stallion INDIANA RED
RIVER also works cows, jumped big fences[he's 14.3] with lynn lloyd of RED
ROCK HOUNDS in reno,nv and during his 2 sessions in dressage with an olympic
medalist was said to have 3 good gaits and plenty of potential.lots of bone
and big feet with a short back.alot of power with a round frame i quite
enjoy riding him whether for pleasure or in competition.joan and INDIANA
RANCH MORGANS
