[RC] kissing & 100 milers - rides2farWe're t he people who started out on 100 milers and often took horses on a 100 for their first ride. So, how can we relate to people beating to death whether or not they or their horses can do a 100 miler after they've ridden 50s for years? I It's like saying you want to kiss, but never have sex! Good analogy. I'd take it a little farther and say, some people say, "I want a kid" and go get pregnant. Others say, "I want a kid" then they think they've got to have an established career first, buy the house with the yard, get out of debt, build up a college fund...and by the time they think they have everything in control their biological clock has run out! :-P Maybe they have more control than you & me. You were like the teenage girl who dove for the backseat at the first invitation. Since I did 50's on mine for several years before getting up the nerve to do a 100 I guess I'm like the girl who waited for the church wedding.
