Re: [RC] More 100 Mile Riders - oddfarmThe only ride and tie nearby that I know of, is in Big South Fork. It is held on Sunday and I have to head back to Florida. It is about a 14 hour haul. And then there is that whole "fashion"thing. Shorts or tights, half chaps or knee socks, boots or running shoes. Do I run with a helmet or ride without one? Actually, the second is not an option. My husband also runs, but won't ride. My trainer Wendy, just trains. It is hard to find someone who can use up a whole Sunday to run or ride. Maybe when the kids are on their own, and we can move (our residence and our bodies) the opportunity will show itself. Have you ever thought about Ride and Tie? It combines both and gives your non-horse-owning partner a chance to ride. Why would someone get off a perfectly good horse to run when no one is chasing them?
