RE: [RC] [Guest] Horse blanket cleaning and repairing - Rae Callaway

We have a "Blanket Guy" here and he charges $15 per blanket. He cleans,
sanitizes and shrink wraps them. I have heard that around April, he
averages about 1,000 blankets a day!!! He definitely gets plenty of
business. He will also do repairs, starting at $15 per blanket.

What would you be willing to pay to clean a heavy winter blanket. Repair
rips, tears and buckle replacement? Sheets and other miscellaneous
blankets? I am starting a blanket repair/cleaning service in the
Sacramento
area of California and would like your input. What and how to you clean
and
repair your horse gear? Do you think there is a need enough to recove a
$4000 investment in machines?
