RE: [RC] Question for Las Vegas area folks - Rae Callaway

Please answer to the list, if you don't mind. I love Vegas too and have
always wondered what it would be like living there. Wouldn't even have to
change jobs as my company has a regional office there.

Subject: [RC] Question for Las Vegas area folks

I'm considering a move to southern Nevada. Kat wants to move to a
warmer climate, and although I generally hate cities I like Las Vegas.
We looked at southern California, and fortunately once Kat visited
there she lost interest in moving there (whew!!!!!).

The fact that we enjoy playing poker, and I make money at it, is a
consideration too. ; ^ >

What kind of horse property is available within, say, 30 miles of Las
Vegas, and what is the general cost range? I'd like as much acreage
as I can afford, but if the cost is high I could settle for about ten
acres. I don't need a big house, there are just the two of us. Kat
would even like to rent, since we'll probably move again once I retire
from full-time jobs in about five years.

Flagstaff Arizona is another prospect, but from what I've seen jobs
for a Unix Administrator are scarce there.
