[RC] Why the Silver State results look like they do online - Michael Maul

I posted this to Ridecamp on 12/31 but it's worth posting again.

***********************************************************************
In case riders have been wondering about why the dates for the Silver State
ride
were off by one day(early) and the last day didn't have all the riders - there's
an explanation.

This ride spans 2 ride years - the last day of the pioneer ride is on Dec 1 and
in the
2003 ride season.

In order to get the Pioneer ride all in the ride season 2002 - the office moved
the
dates so that it was all in Nov. 2002. After the Pioneer points have been
calculated -
the dates will be corrected and the last days riders(not pioneer) added.

The intent is to have all 3 of the pioneer days count for 2002 but have
individuals
who did the Dec 1 ride count in 2003.
