Anyone use this combination? Is it safe or not acceptable? I have a gelding who can't use a bit and goes well in the Arabian S hackamore.

The Arabian S hackamore is used best with a German Martingale.  With the Running Martingale it tends to pull down to much and not engage like it is intended to do.  With the German Martingale you are training the horse to have a proper head & neck carriage, not just restraining it.  You can also neck rein with a German Martingale.  We have an article coming out in the Trail Blazer soon on just this subject.
