Re: [RC] goggles and open trailers - MtnRondi

Horse s hauled long distances over a span of time, have more shoulder and hip

problems in a slant load than in a straight load

5 years ago my horse chiropractor told me she recommended slant load trailers. She felt the fact my horse sat on the tailgate/ramp during hauling caused his pelvis to need adjusting every-so-often.

Last year, she told me she has changed her mind. She is seeing too many shoulder and hip problems in horses hauled in slant loads and now she recommends a straight load.
