[RC] Blk Walnut trees poisionous to horses? - Libby & Quentin Llop

Lib has a paint mare that foundered severely from eating just a few leaves
out foxhunting. On the other hand we have them in most of our pastures
without a problem; horses unless they are desparate don't eat them. I
would be fearful that in trying to take them out you would cause more harm.
Notice how many other plants don't grow near them.

Red oak wood shavings can be as toxic as walnut; (also from bad experience -
client's horses was dusted).
