[RC] 30 min - 60 min - Jeanne Slominski

It was my understanding that a horse needs to reach criteria within 30 min at all vet checks: "6.2.1.2  The equine must reach a reasonable pulse recovery based on ambient conditions, within 30 minutes of arrival time at all control points during the ride.", but had 60 minutes to present for the mandatory post ride evaluation: "6.2.1.1  All Equines must stand a mandatory post ride evaluation within one hour of finishing. An equine that does not meet the established criteria within one hour of crossing the finish line shall be disqualified."

Then there's: "Any ride may adopt more stringent criteria, but these must be provided to competitors before the ride in written form."  It would appear that any confusion is whether or not "before the ride" should be interpreted as being at the pre-ride meeting or as having to be on the ride entry. Depending on what the more stringent criteria is, this could go either way. Given that Mother Nature has a mind of her own as to what the weather will be on any given day, and she can change her mind very quickly, "before the ride" could very well be at the pre-ride meeting. As for "in written form", how many RMs would have the ability to give every rider a print out at ride camp?
