Re: [RC] [DR] Statistics on Pulls for one day rides vs multidays and regionaldifferences - Truman Prevatt

My gut told me that based on my experience in riding in the SE, CT that metabolic pulls would have been higher in those regions. Not so. I would have thought that as far as lameness rides in the rocky areas would have been worse, not so. What it seems to say and I hate to interpret statistics, is the horses and riders do a good job at acclimating to their normal conditions.

I would have thought that lameness pulls dominated in W, SW, PS and metabolic pulls dominated in CT, MW, and SE. It's not true. I would have thought that multiday rides would have less MB and lameness pulls but not a huge difference.

These are just my thoughts on looking at the results of Trumans analysis.

What are other views on this from our lists?

Mike
