I've used Freedom and another one spot on fly repellent that I can't remember at the moment and while it worked just ok, it didn't work as long as the manufacturer claims. It was my only fly repellent last summer but here in the Tidewater area of Virginia the biting flies, gnats and mosquitos are better repelled by daily applications of Endure so I gave up on the spot on repellents.
