[RC] Western North Carolina Trails - roleyed

Someone was asking about horse camping
in North Carolina. I rode in Dupont State
Park/Forest last Saturday. I don't know of
any horse camping there but talk about a
beautiful place to ride. It is just out of
Brevard, NC and easily accessible. Nice trails,
some gravel roads but great scenery and pretty
little ponds/lakes with picnic areas, horse ties
and beautiful waterfalls too! If you happen to
live anywhere near here it is well worth the trip.
There are nearly 100 miles of trail and backwoods
roads to ride. There are hikers and trail bikes to
contend with but not terribly crowded(enough trail for all).
I never crossed trail with other riders there but when
I got back to trailhead parking lot there were 15 rigs there.
There are multiple parking areas for horse trailers too.
