LInda,

You have a very selective memory.  You went back and forth over whether you
could even file a protest and then lodged it against the AERC and not the
rider!  We never lost your paperwork.  Why you withdrew the protest the second time
after I spent time interviewing the vet and other people involved, lord only
knows.  Your first check was returned, you never sent a second one.  If no
check you supposedly sent was ever deposited, you certainly never could have been
harmed by the supposed failure to return it.

John Parke

No Sir...............I did send you a second check with the second letter.   I have a carbon copy of it along with the receipts of the mailing.   You wrote me and said you couldn't find it anywhere when.....................after months and months of nothing, I did finally decided to withdraw the protest.  I could see it was going nowhere because I did as you asked and made the subject of my protest the owner of the horse............a non-member who would never be sanctioned or tracked in any manner.

A protest for nothing........just like Nashoula's life that was lost after suffering for hours in camp............her life finally gone Sunday afternoon....................the price paid for sport..................

Wonder what the VC would come up with as a reason for her death????   How about a first time horse and a first time rider going too far too fast?   How about a 50 mile race with only one vet check at the halfway point - in the summer - in the high desert?

And Steph................You don't know me and I realize your first tendency will be to believe Mr Parke in this matter because you know him - he is a big-name in AERC with all that goes along with it.   I have been civil.  I was very patient for a very long time..............and I did send a second check and my second check was lost.   This, I KNOW to be true.
