[RC] [Guest] Has anyone tried "Cool Calories" and / or Black Oil Sunflowers - Ridecamp Guest

Char char.antuzzi@xxxxxx

Hello,
I was at the horse expo last weekend and saw a new product being offered. It
is called "Cool Calories" and is 99% fat. It almost looks like someone
freeze dried vegitable oil. It was very interesting talking to the rep and
sounded like a great product.

second thing, I was walking around the barns and saw a very well known
speaker / clinician feeding his horses. I saw him put a scoop of what looked
like black sunflower seeds into the grain. I asked him what is was and sure
enough, black oil sunflower seeds. He said it puts a shine on the coats like
you wouldn't believe.

Anyway, just wondering if any of you feed your horses these two things?
Thanks
