Re: [RC] [RC] farm insurance - Laurie DurginMy friend who leases and runs a boarding barn said her insurance doubled last week. I have State Farm and they told me if I do anything for money with horses, lessons, boarding etc. they would cancel me. I can however 'keep' a horse here for nothing. I have 3 ponies and two foals of my daughters trainers here 'for nothing' . I was told they will insure my horses or say if a friend rides, but if it is a business they would cancel. Looks like it is going to keep going up an up till lmaybe owners will have to band together and start their own insurance company. Or get around it some other way, like incorporating or something. And we even have a limited equine liability law. .Insurance companies want to get rid of horses anyway, liability and medical. :{ Laurie /And Rascal From: "firedancefarms" <firedancefarms@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "ridecamp" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [RC] farm insurance Date: Fri, 30 May 2003 22:53:17 -0500 _________________________________________________________________ Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
