Re: [RC] [RC] award perspectives - rides2far

It seems to be customary in these parts to give something to those >
who> didn't complete as well as to those who did. As I mentioned, ride >
volunteers

This should really confuse everyone. I have no problem with them giving a
t-shirt to a non-completer who wants one *after* the awards, or even
earlier if the pulled person asks for one and is leaving. I just like the
t-shirts to be handed out as awards at the awards meeting. I have bought
t-shirts for my crew before that were just like the one I "won"...but at
the awards I want those people who may have finished next to last, middle
of the pack, or wherever to have their moment in the sun where they get
their name called and walk up and get something to represent their
success. :-)

God grant me the Serenity to enjoy a sound horse when I have one. The
self control to not ride a questionable horse when I have one, and the
wisdom to know the difference.
