[RC] Feeding the volunteers - rides2farHope this doesn't seem like a silly question. I need ideas on> what type of foods work well (you know, being outside all day, > somethingalmost everyone likes, maybe something not too heavy?). Boy, do we need more recruits like *you*! :-)) Volunteers aren't like riders. They don't have to worry about their stomach being shaken up or the gut wrenching stress (except for the manager). They're usually cold, tired, hurried, or bored. What that means is ANY food will be so welcome that you'd better push the pan to them with a stick or you may lose some fingers! As far as specifics...Nina Barnett certainly has no trouble getting rid of the chocolate chips cookies she usually brings. Cookies in general tend to hold up well. Avoid things that make you lick your fingers since you're probably feeding people who have been taking rectal temperatures all day. (not that that will stop them from picking up finger food and devouring it.) >g< Angie ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
