[RC] managment and completion awards - rides2far

The reason I gave everyone a shirt was because it takes a lot to get
to a ride. The hours of training, money spent on supplies and entry
fees, gas and time off work for most people makes it hard for me to
let them leave empty handed.

I understand you having your opinion on it. Mine's just that if you get
the same thing when you complete as when you "try" the completion award
is trivialized. I never leave a ride empty handed. If I made a mistake I
leave with more knowledge. If I was the victim of circumstance
(summersaults on the trail for example) I leave with a greater
appreciation of other riders who jump in to help. In one way or another I
always get something out of going. If I don't complete a t-shirt that
reminds me of that day every time I look at it won't make me feel any
better and not getting it makes me twice as determined to do it right
next time.
