[RC] Washing Aluminum Horse Trailers Clarified - Kathy's eMail

Okay my horse trailer is aluminum topped with white painted aluminum sides.
Hade black streaks on it and looked yucky, yucky, yucky. On the advice of a
friend I took it and had it acid washed. It looked great. The black
streaks and everything were gone. Now I just run it in about once a year
and have it acid washed. Didn't seal anything. So that is all I know to
tell you. I think you might be trying to make to much work out of this
simply project. If you do hand wash it at home you should always wash it
from the bottom up and you will not get the black streaks.
Kathy
