[RC] leading from in front - julie fox

Can anyone suggest how to teach a horse to follow a respectful distance behind
while being led? I have a very alpha 2-year-old who finally has learned to
lead nicely with her head/neck at my shoulder without dragging me around. I'd
like to start jogging with her on trails, but they aren't wide enough for both
of us, and it is too hard (for me anyway) to jog behind with a long rein in
each hand without constantly yanking her mouth.

I appreciate any help with this, since eventually I'll want to lead her down
the steep hills anyway.

Thanks,
Cristin
