[RC] joint supplements? - Renee Gonzalez

Hi ridecampers,

I'd like to put my mare on a joint supplement but, as I'm sure you all know, there are way too many to choose from. I've heard so many different opinions about which kind of supplement is best -- only feed powder -- only feed it in the liquid form -- now I'm totally overwhelmed.

I've heard good things from my vet and friends about GLC 5500 (comes in a powder) and Cosequin (also in a powder). From some people, I've heard that the only supplement worth feeding is Cortaflex, while other people tell me that feeding a liquid supplement is like throwing your money away.

So ridecampers, what do you think? Which products have you tried? Which ones do you think have shown the best results?

I'm all ears,

Renee
