I met Joe and Kahil on the Shore to Shore in 87. Kahil
was a small tough horse and Joe was a small tough rider. We had more
fun, he would sing southern songs, I would sing Yankee Doodle. They made
it across, I did 4 days with Wednesday off. I will never forget that
ride. We all had more fun, more companionship. It was a great
experience after the 87 ROC which I would just as soon forget. Go
