Re: [RC] Rides on the same weekend - DreamWeaver

I thought this was up to our AERC PS sanctioning director, which is Terry Woolley Howe. Now your telling me it's OK to go a head and put one on for next year on the same weekend....Gee, that's great! I'll send you my paper work.

I am simply stating that it would not be considered a conflict with the existing ride.

Although, you've told me that I should have known that it was limited since it was in the EN, that was not my point. My comment was "It should have been announced that they start taking entries at some point in time." Not everyone has a computer and are online.

That is why there is a ride calendar published in EN. So when people get their EN they can read the info and contact the RM. You don't have to have a computer to do that. Anybody who receives EN and is not online would not know when Tevis begins accepting entries unless they contacted the RM, and they would also not know that Terry's ride fills up either. The same information for all of these rides is published in EN. I have never received a notice from Terry nor from the Tevis people about when I can submit an entry, and they both have limits. In fact, the Tevis is in the new EN and it doesn't even state that it has limited entries. I hope you give them as hard of a time if you wait till a few weeks before the ride to enter and find out it is full.

I really am sorry that people are not able to get into the ride. By saying that previously, it was not intended to be 'mean'.
