Every time we feel that feeling on a horse, when everything works right and you are one entity and everything becomes possible, when the mountains unfold before you and tears spring to your eyes, that feeling makes up for every mile in the rain or heat, when you and that horse didn't quite see eye to eye, when you hurt or wanted to quit, every boring training mile.
