Re: [RC] Daughters head injury on horse - Vallonelee

As a side note, I was involved in a bad car accident - lady ran a red light and practically t-boned me.  Anyway I was in horrible pain.  Had all the test - MRI with contrast dye injected, etc.  An orthopedist recommended surgery.  I went for a consultation to a pain management specialist and he recommended radiofrequency ablation - huh?  When he described it I said "you want to pinfire my neck". I had traumatic arthritis from the injury and the only thing that worked (and I tried physical therapy, chiro, etc.) was drugs.  This doctor advised me against surgery because he felt it would not correct the problem.   I had the procedure and have been 99% pain free since then without surgery.
