My chiropractor includes stretches during the
appointment and "prescribes" stretches for between
appointments -- much like a physical therapist -- and
he fully acknoledges that the stretches are of primary
importance.  I also try to get to a massage therapist
as often as I can, again this is supported by my
chiropractor.  I used to go to a chiropractor that
included massage therapy in the regular appointment
(wish I could find one of those again!).  I find that
in *general* chiropractors will support your use of
various means other than "adjustment" in order to find
help for your problems.  There isn't just one
solution.  Nor will the same solution work for
