I have flat braided reins from Long Riders Gear: 1-888-420-GEAR, or www.longridersgear.com
The item # is RJ08BK for black, RJ08BN for brown, and they come in numerous colors.  They are my favorite reins....never get stiff, easily machine washable.  One-piece, 9.5' long X 5/8" wide, scissor snaps on each end.  Cost $18.
