RE: [RC] [RC] riding in heat - Teri

For everyone out there who takes their helmets and dips them in water ponds
and put them on their heads to stay cool, make sure you check to see what
else you have scooped up besides water.

I rode a ride in the Texas heat.  Decided to get off my mare and scoop up a
bucket of water with my helmet (this was years ago before they put holes in
them) and low and behold a long with the water was a little snake.  Big
enough for me to drop the helmet and never do that again.
