[RC] [RC] Treadmills - Tom Dean

I had a treadmill for a while. I do not think it is a good replacement
for conditioning. Horses tend to trot on their favorite diagonal and
build up on one side. I had an Oregon State University vet tell me that
they were also tough on their joints for long term use. None of my
horses liked it, but most tolerated it.

The one I had was made by Good Horse Keeping in Missouri. It did not
last more 30 days before the skid plate wore out, then the belt wore out
and the electric motor started shutting down. It was built with very
poor quality control and design.
