there are those cool-ties( i might get one myself)
when i ride in summer,like 80's 90's with 60-80%humidity, i wet a bandana 
and wear it around my neck and rewet it with my water bottles as needed it 
cools the veins leading to my head anyway.i also wear those coolmax or driex 
type shirts like cyclist wear.try a light color helmet cover.lad
