[RC] Preventing Treatment -Round Two - Stagg_Newman

The "Preventing Treatment" article to which many of you contributed ideas
has now been sent to all AERC members and is published in the latest issue
of Endurance News. Distance International, a British endurance riding
magazine is also publishing
the article. We are encouraging other horse mags to also publish it so as
to get as widespreat dissemination as possible.

The checklist is on the AERC web site:

The article can also be reached through Ridecamp.
Various ride managers are giving the one pager out to all riders at rides.

Now for the next step let's create a electronic version of this checklist
with hot links
to electronic articles that explain the various concepts and
recommendations in more
depth. Almost every item on the list can be expanded into a short article.

This version of the one-pager will then let new and experienced riders
pursue the
ideas presented to much greater depth.

So please send me recommendations for electronic articles or web pages that
should be
referenced. Of if there are good paper articles that we could post
electronically without copyright
problems, please let me know about that. My email address is:

Thanks and let's keep the momentum going!
