Re: [RC] Bee Stings, how long to ride? - Stephanie E Caldwell

Thanks Heidi,

He said Banamine or Bute would be okay if she was in pain, however I'm funny
about painkillers and I don't like to use them unless she's in *Pain*, would
increasing her MSM and her joint supplement with Yucca, MSM, Glucosamine,
Chondrotin, etc help reduce inflamation? Her bumps are gone, but she seems
really wiped out and just stiff. Reminded me of how we move when we have the
flu! She was stuck in a stall for about 36 hours afterwards until I could
get the roundbale out of her pasture.

Steph

The walking is likely a good idea, but I wouldn't plan on doing anything
very taxing until she is no longer lethargic and sore. How long it takes
to work through an allergic reaction varies a great deal from individual
to individual and from reaction to reaction. Ask your vet about possibly
giving her some Banamine to make her more comfortable as well.

Heidi
