[RC] Hollering Horse - Benedikte Whitman

My horse hollers on trail. I recently did two different CTR's in open
class. Since I have a very "racy" horse, I have been riding him near the
back of open and trying to keep a pocket where no horses can be seen ahead
or behind. My horse has started yelling out every 10 - 15 minutes or so.
Doing this for a 8.5 hour ride gets really old (not to mention somewhat
embarrassing).

He does not have any "buddy" he has been separated from ahead and he does
it both when he sees other horses and when he doesn't. The other horses,
I'm sure, are all saying "What a dweeb" and never answer.

Other than tying his mouth shut, does anyone have any advice on this one?
The only good thing is that the safety rides will never loose me as they
can hear me the whole way. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Benedikte
