[RC] Older horses "growing" - Jena Williams

I read somewhere that a horse?s torso is "suspended", and not rigidly attached. Therefore exercise and strengthening of the suspension muscles can increase their height as measured at the withers. I don?t remember where I read it though? I subscribe to a number of magazines and read anything horsey in sight.

Maybe that would explain why an out of shape 7 year old seemed to grow after a year of work.
