[RC] Upcoming Tevis Events - Joan Dowis

Two events sponsored by the Western States Trail Foundation are scheduled in
the next weeks:

May 3 there will be a "Start to Finish" Clinic at the Semas Ranch in Auburn,
Ca., 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Topics include schooling by Richard Barsaleau,
DVM, vet check and feeding issues by Erin McChesney-Klentos, shoeing by Matt
Scribner, saddle fitting by Robert Ferrand, ride recommendations for Tevis
by Roxanne Green, a panel discussion including the above and Kathie Perry
and Bill Pieper.  Donation of $45 includes a continental breakfast and
lunch.

May 10 will be the annual Tevis Fun Ride based at the Old Mill Site in
Foresthill, Ca., located at Bath Rd and Foresthill Rd.  (The Foresthill vet
stop location on the Tevis)  Cost is $35 pre-ride, $40 at check-in.
Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m., start your ride at any time.  Tri-tip BBQ
