Which once again demonstrates the concept that too often conformation is thought to mean "legs" when it is really the balanced body that is responsible for the athleticism.  From what I've seen of pictures of this horse, he had a great body but less-than-perfect legs.  Just one more example among many of horses that might have been rejected by folks who didn't consider the whole package!  :-)

Did anyone see the Seabiscuit documentary on PBS the other night? He had the wrong conformation along with being smaller than desired.
