12)Human mosquito spray ( OFF) is more effective than horse sprays


Do NOT do this!!!

I board right next to a reservoir so our summer bugs are pretty intense. We
get unbelieveable tenacious flies that would try and munch my horse in the
poll area and right on the croup -- two areas that she couldn't get to and
couldn't shake off, so I got the bright idea to use OFF. Hey, it worked well
on me so why not on her?

She lost her hair, got welts and megga flakes in the areas where I applied
the OFF. Not immediately, but days later. It made her more uncomfortable
than the fly bites did.

Best thing I've found for flies and mosquitos is the FlySect sprays. I like
the Citronella because it works just as well as the Super 7, it smells
better and it doesn't have all the scary warnings on the label like the
Super 7.
