[RC] Spring Training - roleyed

Got up on Saturday and did a couple of hours riding. Weather was great and was
able to ride in just a t-shirt. Shed him out afterwards as the winter coat is
falling out fast. Woke up Sunday morning with 10 inches of snow on the ground
and it continued to snow all day(no further accumulation as it was relatively
warm). Poor horse was shivering most of the day. Free choice hay and a good
sheltered area didn't seem to help. I had not seen him shiver all winter in
much colder weather but I think this weather bouncing around has him confused.
We did Sand Hills Stampede last weekend and it was mid 70's there. Supposed to
be 65 degrees here tomorrow! Plan to be in middle Georgia next week(Million
Pines) and wouldn't be surprised that we see 80+ degree weather. Ed Roley
