People who have no idea what functional conformation or correct movement are, are breeding because they want to produce "living art". Amen! Well said! And all too often, it is the persistent breeders with vision and knowledge who keep the functional segment of any breed going, while the fads follow along on the coattails of the "inspectors" and "judges." Even with those who have little knowledge participating, it is far better to have several functional visions at work than only those visions of a select few.
