[RC] Trailer Question - RHightshoe

I just got a new Ford F-250 4x4 with the 6.0 diesel engine and feel very
fortunate. I have a Sundowner Valuelite 3 horse, slant, gooseneck trailer.
When I hook the trailer to the truck the trailer is very high in front and
no where near level. I would lower the trailer front end but their is only
about 6" of clearance between the bottom of the trailer and the top of the
truck side rails. I can't find anything that will tell me what is the
smallest distance between the top of the truck and the bottom of the
trailer where I can operate without them ever hitting each other. Also,
how close to level should the trailer be? I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks. Bob
