[RC] Need english saddle pad advice - Suzanne M. Boyd

I'm currently using a Wintec all purpose saddle, which fits my mare quite
well. I bought a coolback contoured pad to use with it, but find that it
just barely fits the saddle, so that if it slips at all, which it always
does, it ends up too far back. Which drives me crazy!! I also have several
square all -purpose cotton pads, which seem to work really well, but I worry
that they won't cut it once we start putting more miles on. I don't want to
wait until I have a problem. I've been looking for a square, all-purpose,
wool or woolback pad, but haven't had any luck. I have found one, but it
has neoprene down the center of it, suppossedly for shock absorption. I'm
worried that will make it too hot? So what kinds of pads work well with
english saddles? Is there such a thing as an oversize contour, wool pad? Is
anyone using Skito pads with Wintec saddles? Any advice will be much
appreciated.

Suzanne(in snowy Ohio, where, apparently, I'm just dying to buy more
tack!!!)
